SPALDING
A Division of Russell Brands, LLC, Spalding is the largest basketball equipment supplier in the world, and America's first baseball company.
Widely known as a top apparel company, Russell Corporation set out to expand its position as an athletic company. In 2003, Russell Corp. acquired leading ball producer Spalding.
In the summer of 2004, Russell Corp. solidified its position as a leading sporting goods company by acquiring athletic equipment manufacturers American Athletic, Inc (AAI) and Huffy Sports, including brands BPI and Hydra-RIB respectively.
Spalding is the official basketball of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), the official backboard of the NBA and NCAA, the official baseball of the Little League World Series, the official volleyball of the King of the Beach Volleyball Tour and the official football of Pop Warner.
In addition to being the leading producer and marketer of basketballs, footballs, volleyballs and soccer balls, Spalding produces softballs under the Dudley brand. The SPALDING® and DUDLEY® trademarks are owned by Russell Brands, LLC.
PRODUCT WARRANTIES
AAI warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship. Without charge, AAI will, at
its option, either repair or replace any products shown to our satisfaction to be defective within one
(1) year from receipt by customer, provided it is returned to the factory (after authorization), transportation
prepaid.
This warranty covers only products manufactured by AAI and does not extend to
transportation, installation or replacement charges incurred by customer; nor does it apply to products
or components of another manufacturer appearing in this catalog or used in conjunction with
AAI products according to the terms hereof and standards acceptable in AAI’s industry.
This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of any other express or implied warranties, including but not
limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose.
Modification of AAI products renders the warranty void and could create a risk of severe personal
injury.
Abuse, misuse, abnormal usage, faulty installation, improper maintenance or unauthorized
repairs are not covered under warranty. No obligations or liabilities exist on the part of AAI for consequential
damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the products.
FIRST TEAM
In 1996 Wayne Unruh and Jeff Roth co-founded First Team Sports, Inc. based in Hutchinson, Kansas.
"At that time we were using my garage as warehousing and my basement as our first office" says Wayne Unruh, president of First Team.
From there things took off for First Team, quickly becoming known as one of the finestmanufacturers of outdoor and indoorbasketball equipment in the country.

PRODUCT WARRANTIES
All First Team products are warranted against manufacturers defects at delivery. Additionally, First Team warranties most products for a given period of time as stated in the literature.
Below is and explanation of First Team's warranty levels.
Limited Warranty:
Covers any damage caused by normal basketball activity and normal player contact with the goal. "Normal basketball activity" and "Normal player contact" shall be described as any action that is necessary for participation in the game of basketball.
Deliberate hanging on the rim, multiple player hanging, and vandalism are not covered under the Limited Warranty.
Superior Warranty:
Covers any damage or failure caused by any type of basketball activity or related contact with the unit. This includes deliberate hanging on the rim as well as multiple player hanging.
The Superior Warranty does not cover vandalism.
Unconditional Warranty:
Covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason. Any product carrying an Unconditional Warranty is exempt from the above stated limitations.
Any normal wear and tear caused by weathering or UV exposure is not covered under any First Team warranty. All painted items carry a one year limited warranty on coating.
First Team basketball systems listed solely under "Residential Basketball Packages" are warranted for residential use only! "Residential" is defined as a "single family dwelling." For a complete listing of basketball packages warranted for non-residential use, refer to the "Institutional Basketball Packages" section of First Team's price list. Under no circumstances shall any basketball package other than those listed under "Institutional Basketball Packages" be warranted for non-residential use.
GARED SPORTS
GARED® services the after-market, retail, and custom gymnasium structure markets, and have become the leader in innovative product design, precision engineering, and premium manufacturing of sports equipment.
Our centrally located manufacturing and warehouse facilities, and new state-of-the-art powder coating operation in Noblesville, Indiana have enabled us to offer our customers shorter lead times and more economical shipping costs.
We sell our products through a trusted network of dealers across the United States and around the world.
PRODUCT WARRANTIES
Limited warranties:
All GARED® products are warranted against manufacturing defects as delivered. Many products are also
covered for various lengths of time with limited or unconditional warranties stated in the description of the
product. Limited warranties cover damage or failure from normal and intended use of the product, but do not
cover damage or failures caused by abusive activities or deliberate damage.
Normal or intended use shall be described as activity that is necessary for the participation in the sport for
which the equipment is designed. Unconditional warranties cover damage or failure from any use of the product or activity.
Deterioration of products due to weather or other causes that do not affect functional use are not covered by
warranties. Warranties are valid only when product is used for the intended purpose and installed according
to GARED® instructions.
Any alteration or modification of the product by the end-user voids any warranty.
GARED® shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages whatsoever. All merchandise is sold
under these conditions, which no representative of the company can waive or change. Products sold for both
commercial/institutional and residential use will not be covered by the same warranty. GARED® does not
warrant any product for use in pay-for play facilities except for those cases where a special warranty is offered
in writing by the company prior to the sale.
GARED® will replace defective items upon their authorized return and will ship replacement product by
ground freight only. GARED® will not be responsible for labor and or any other cost incurred during removal
or installation of the defective product.

PRODUCT WARRANTIES
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Subject to proper installation and normal use, Escalade Sports warrants, subject to the limitations below, to the original retail purchaser all structural
components of the Goalrilla System to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the duration of ownership by the original retail purchaser.
Merchandise must be shipped prepaid with a copy of proof of purchase to our factory for examination to see whether it needs to be repaired or
replaced.
Any labor costs, travel expenses and any other changes involved in the removal, installation or replacement of the defective/repaired parts
from/to your Goalrilla System will be your (the purchaser's) responsibility. Shipping charges for replaced or warranted merchandise being sent back to
the customer from our factory must be prepaid by the customer in advance.
If not, the replacement shipment will be sent out collect.
Escalade Sports reserves the right to examine photographs or physical evidence of merchandise claimed to be defective, and to recover said
merchandise, prior to authorization of warranty claims. A "Returned Goods Authorization" number may be required, please call for details prior to the
return of any photographs or merchandise.
This warranty is expressly in lieu of all warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for use. Escalade Sports
does not assume or authorize any person or representative to assume for us, any other liability in connection with the sale of our products.
The remedy of repair or replacement stated above is our exclusive remedy.
Escalade Sports will not be liable for any other damages or expenses
which may incur, including but not limited to incidental or consequential damages. Escalade Sports assumes no other obligations or liability on the
part of the purchaser, and Escalade Sports neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any other liability in connection with the
goods sold.
What is Not Covered by This Warranty
- Any merchandise subjected to abuse, negligence, improper installation, vandalism, acts of God, alteration of product, or any other events beyond
the control of Escalade Sports.
- Paint or rusted parts. Paint kits will be available to assist in normal maintenance.
- HANGING ON RIM WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY: Rims are not warranted for any defects other than workmanship. Torn back plates,
damaged springs, bent rings, damaged eyebolts, and torn or distorted rim supports result from hanging on the rim and are not warranted.
- Shipping charges both ways. Note: Any merchandise shipped to Escalade Sports collect will be refused.
- Dealer service charges, labor charges and travel expenses associated with replacement of repair of warranty item.
Warranty Guidelines
1. Keep your proof of purchase (original retail purchaser). Without it, we will not be able to proceed with any warranty service.
2. Call or write Escalade Sports Inc. to receive a Return Authorization # and allow us to better guide you with your specific needs.

PRODUCT WARRANTIES
Limited Warranties
All Bison products are warranted against manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. In
addition, most products are covered by warranty periods stated in the description of the
product. Where listed as “limited”, warranties cover damage or failure that occurs during the
course of "normal or intended use" of the warranted product. Normal or intended use is
described as activity that is necessary for the participation in the sport for which the equipment
is designed.
Bison Limited Warranties do not cover any damage or failure that is the direct or indirect result
of any use that is not deemed in the sole discretion of Bison to be "normal and intended use".
When warranties are stated as “unconditional” or "unconditional replacement", the above
stated limitations do not normally apply.
Whether or not stated as such, all Bison warranties allow Bison to repair or replace warranted
products at Bison's sole option.
Normal deterioration of products due to weather, wear and tear, or other causes that do not
a ect functional use are not covered by Bison warranties, regardless of type of stated
warranty.
All warranties are valid only when product is used in the intended application as outlined in
Bison's printed literature, when installed according to Bison’s instructions and when matched
with compatible components as described in Bison's literature. Under no circumstances will
product shown in the Bison Premium Residential Basketball Equipment Catalog be warranted
for commercial or institutional use.
Due to the abusive nature of pay-to-play facilities, unless speci cally agreed to in writing,
Bison products carry no warranty except for obvious manufacturing defects when used in a
facility where players pay an individual or group fee to use Bison equipment.
Bison will pay ground freight only to repair or replace defective merchandise. Unless otherwise
stated, Bison will not assume any liability for labor costs incurred for removal or replacement
of product replaced or repaired under warranty.
